Adirondack Golf & Country Club

Designed by Architects Cornish, Silva and Mungeam, this course opened in 1990 and was nominated for the best design by the American Society of Golf Course Architects.  Adirondack Golf Course has been repeatedly listed in "Golf Digest Best Places to Play" and received 3 1/2 stars.    The tree-lined fairways and wildlife surround makes this course a pleasure to play, and is easy accessible.





Bluff Point Golf Resort

Situated on the picturesque Lake Champlain.  Go fishing or swimming after you step off the course.  The Green Mountains of VT and the Adirondack Mountains are the course back drop.  Designed by A. W. Tillinghast as his signature showcase.  He is known for his undulated (sloping/rolling contours) designs.  He designed Royal Montreal, Winged Foot, Baultusrol, Shinnecock and Beth Page Black






Cobble Hill Golf Course

Open 1896, and owned by the Town of Elizabethtown.  The course is both challenging and enjoyable; offering spectacular views of the Adirondack Mountains.  Fairways are wide and greens are small to medium size.  Open from May through September.






Five Nations Golf, LLC

A special 9 hole chipping course with night golf is open 7 days a week during season, and is just north of the Ticonderoga Country Club.  Named to represent the five nations of Mohawk, Oneida, Onondaga, Cayuga, and Seneca that placed a role in our nations history.  The March 13, 1758 "Battle of Snowshoes" (French & Indian Wars) took place on these grounds.  The Indian lead patrol hid out on the property and engaged the British with the French.  They defeated the British in the vicinity of the 4th and 8th greens!  This battle gave rise to the tale of Roger's Rock, as it was said that Rogers (British Ranger) escaped capture by sliding down 400' down the rock face to the frozen surface of Lake George.  This rock is now known as "Roger's Rock."  Just a little tidbits.  However, special events and group activities planed through the season.






Harmony Golf Club & Community

A classic course situated on the cliffs overlooking Lake Champlain and Port Kent.  With a tradition spanning 100 years, this newly designed course has a renovated club house for a fine dining experience.  Originally named Champlain Country Club, then Northern Pines Golf Course.  The course was designed by Channing Floyd, the 1st professional player.  The depression of the '30 caused the sale to several owners and eventually deteriorated.  In 1960, Richard Harmond formed a corporation to reopen the course in '63 to the public.  At that time it was 9 holes, but continued to grow to a total of 14 holes.  In 2010, the course completed a state-of-the-art irrigation system and they are striving for 18 hole sin the future.  Course rating is 70.0 with a slope rating of 113. 






Moriah Golf & Country Club

The Moriah Golf Course in Port Henry is one of the oldest golf courses in America, established in 1900.  The course runs  through a small valley with a brook on the lower holes. Course rating is 31.5 and a slope rating of 103.






North Country Golf Club

North Country Club opened its doors in 1936 and originally built by Andrews Weston who had a visit of club atmosphere.  The course was donated to the town as a gift for local residents to gather socially. The fairways are open and small greens with rolling terrain that is easy to walk.  Challenges of water hazards, and the signature 17th hole (495 yard, par 5) makes this course a pleasant and inviting day of golf.  North Country also offers premium services.





Skene Valley Country Club

    The Skene Valley Course has an 18 regulation course designed by Mark Cassidy Sr. and opened in 1967.  The course rating is 71,87 with a slope rate of 121.






The Barracks Golf Course

Designed by Scott Witter, this course opened in 1962.  The course is located at the former Plattsburgh Air Force Base.






Ticonderoga Golf & Country Club

This course is another historic golf course built into the Adirondack landscape, and offers scenic views, babbling brooks, tree-lined fairways.   This course is located in the historic Lord Howe Valley at the north end of Lake George, and near where the Roger's Rangers fought the Snowshoe Battle.






Valley View Golf Course

A fun 9 hole regulation golf course with a rating of 34 with a slope rate of 104.






Westport Country Club

    The Westport course is a 115-year-old course and considered one of the best in the Adirondacks.  Folks use to come by carriage!  Originally a 6 hole course called the "Westport Golf Links" as part of the Westport Inn.  The course was extended under the greens keeper, and in 1928, Scottish Architect, Thomas Wilton, was contracted to turned this course into the 18 hole course.  The great depression kit and little work was actually done.  In the '50, the course became the summer home of famed Scottish Pro Henry Picard.  After the demolition of the Westport Inn in the late '50's, the course became under the ownership of the town, then several private enterprises.  In 2001, the course was purchased by Westport Golf Investors, now owner who continue the unspoiled scenery, enhancing with a signature hole with waterfall feature, fully irrigated course.  The Westport Country Club  received the 2004 Reader's Choice Award for "Best Golf Value in New York".  4 Stars in Golf Digest, and Golf Quebec "5 Star rating Golf and Dining".  Travelers by boat can call for free transportation; and easy access to marina and waterfront dining.






    Willsboro Golf Course

    First opened in 1916, and made available to the public in 1960.  Designed by Eustice Potts, and a wonderful getaway from city life in this small community.
